Details of experience

I had a very empowering and beautiful water birth with my first daughter. A few things I would have changed if I’d have known better would have been staying at home longer, declining ARM (which was offered after I had been in hospital for quite some time and I postponed it for 4 hours but didn’t feel I could fully say no), and declining active management of my placenta. Otherwise though, I was so stoked with that birth experience, I just know more now and would do things differently.
